An in-depth look at what Elevate Maths is to ensure our values align with yours.
Elevate Maths is more than tutoring. It's a philosophy grounded in structure, discipline and progression.
I go above and beyond to ensure complete transparency, measurable development, and the formation of habits that create lasting academic confidence.
With extensive resources and rigorous accountability — I don't just teach maths. I build the foundations for whatever comes next.
I founded Elevate Maths after nearly a decade of tutoring, having begun within months of completing my own GCSEs. That firsthand perspective, combined with years of refining what works, is the foundation Elevate Maths is built on.
Every student completes a Discovery Session before joining. I only accept students who are genuinely ready to excel.
Following the Discovery Session, students are grouped into year-group cohorts of a similar level.
Homework checked throughout the week, attendance tracked and quarterly progress reports issued to every parent.
Students submit workings, not just answers. I identify where thinking breaks down and fix it at the root.
Notes, spreadsheets, cheat sheets, mark schemes and recorded lessons — all in a handmade digital library.
Additional free open study sessions to keep knowledge fresh, address gaps and ensure no student falls behind between lessons.
Dedicated lessons focused on perfecting exam technique, managing time pressure and tackling exam-style questions.
Every lesson is part of a plan, curated around your child's progress and the road ahead.
Your child's GCSE years are mapped out from day one — every chapter, in order, with enough runway that nothing is ever rushed. Exam practice begins months before the exam, not the final fortnight, because real exam technique takes repetition to build. With extensive past paper practice, students arrive at their exam confident, prepared and ready to perform.
Preparation is part of the standard.
Students are expected to arrive having read through the topic beforehand and with homework sent in before the lesson. Homework should be spread across the week, not crammed in the night before — the difference is always visible. A little practice each day keeps the technique fresh; doing it all in one sitting does not. Support doesn't wait for the next session either: students get feedback throughout the week, so a mistake or a misunderstanding gets caught and corrected in days, not left to repeat for a week.
Asking a question is never a problem. Asking it without having opened the material first, is. There's a difference between not understanding something and not having tried — and we hold that line clearly.
